This well-acted, keep you on the edge of your seat, not knowing what comes next, story of change hit home. Playwright/director Gailee Walker Wells played Ashlin – the main character turning 50-years-old, having a party and trying new things and making serious changes in her life. Her family and friends were going through the same changes in the show. In the end, the audience was invited to join the protagonist’s party, enjoy some tasty treats, and sing old songs form the ‘Boomers Rock’ era. The cast consisted of actors from far and wide – Robert G. Carrillo played Marshall, a guru type friend who holds the keys to major change and happiness in Ashlin’s life; Brian Terry played Charles, Ashlin’s brother-in-law who is married to the difficult Barbara; and Rosh Wright played Barbara, Ashlin’s sister. Wright had traveled six hours to help Wells when the original actress could not make the performance. Young Advertisement The theatrical wardrobe for "Boomers Rock" was created by Britboy Fashions based out of San Diego and Los Angeles. Actor Brian Terry is the owner and fashion designer. Truly Madly Sweetly Bake Shop on Winchester Road in Temecula supplied the delicious cupcakes for Ashlin’s party. "Boomers Rock" was written by Gailee Walker Wells and is a Theatre Arts West production. The Theater Foundation made the performance possible at the Merc.
