Tri Valley Pageants to commence May 5

Friday, April 5th, 2013
Issue 14, Volume 17.

MENIFEE – When you think of pageantry, vivid imagery of an elegant woman effortlessly gracing the stage or a toddler in "blingy" attire comes to mind. Tri Valley Pageants (TVP) would like you to see their system as one with a public servant humbly working alongside the people who she represents, while maintaining an inner and outer beauty respected by many. With a positive conviction, when Tri Valley looks at past queens and contestants, they are proud to say they exemplify just that.

Tri Valley Pageants is a pageant system comprised of grace, elegance, intelligence, scholastic ambition, and community service.

Lowona Crawford, director/CEO of Tri Valley Pageants, has 15 years of extensive pageantry experience intertwined with recognizable accomplishments. Among that, her daughter Rikayah Crawford has also held countless local, preliminary state, and national titles.

Tri Valley Pageants prides themselves on the development of today’s young women to become tomorrow’s leaders. With specialty training in personal interview, personal introduction, on-stage presentation (public image) and community service, Tri Valley believes these tools are essential for today’s young lady. Though it’s apparent that the Valley has some of the most beautiful young women, TVP believes that beauty surpasses far more than what the eye can see.

Wildomar and Miss Perris is an honor for any young woman who is fortunate enough to earn it. While these young ladies continue their quest of making a difference through their own perspective of volunteerism within their city, TVP grants them opportunity of potentially representing their city or state in the Miss USA, Miss America, Miss International, and other state/national pageant competitions.

This year marks the fifth year of excellence for the Tri Valley Pageants system.

On May 5, at the Menifee Lakes Country Club, Tri Valley Pageants will host the 2013 Miss Menifee Pageant, followed by The Miss Murrieta/Miss Temecula Pageant on June 9 held at the Gershwin Theatre (Murrieta Mesa High School).

TVP is also excited to announce the 2013 Princess Program – a mentoring program for young girls ages 5-9. This program is designed for young girls to teach them everything from etiquette to on-stage presence.

Exposure such as this will afford its participants the opportunity to receive a scholarship towards their education, the opportunity to become spokeswoman, a public advocate for a worthy cause, entry fee to a state or national competition, and positive exposure in the entertainment industry.
