Open now until Oct. 31 – Big Horse Corn Maze and Harvest Festival
Mon-Fri: 1 to 5 p.m. Sat-Sun: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Big Horse Feed, 33320 Temecula Parkway. Event includes hay rides, pony rides and corn cannons. Corn maze this year pays tribute to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
Open now until Oct. 30 – Hunterís Pumpkin Patch
10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Temecula Promenade Mall parking lot, 40820 Winchester Rd. Event will include food, carnival games, zoo riders and a petting zoo.
Open now until Oct. 31 – Temeculaís Pumpkin Festival at Peltzer Farms
Peltzer Farms, 39925 Calle Contento. Kick off fall with great attractions including train rides, a petting farm, pony rides, gem panning, goldsmith shop, free corn maze and free pig races.

Oct. 25 – Halloween Family Carnival
6 p.m. Ronald Reagan Sports Park, 30875 Rancho Vista Rd. Trick or treat, win some sweets, wear a costume and compete! Itís the annual Halloween Family Carnival. Games, prizes, fun jumps, face painting, and more! Enter the screaming contest, so start practicing. Moms and dads donít be afraid to dress-up with the kids, new family-themed costume contest category this year. This old-fashioned carnival is a Temecula family tradition. Fee: $5/wristband (includes unlimited games, activities & prizes, excludes food vendors)
Oct. 26 – Fall Festival
5:30 to 8:30 p.m. California Sports Park, 40600 California Oaks Rd. Plenty of games, candy, prizes. Bring your carved pumpkin and enter a contest, vendors and much more. $3 wristbands include unlimited carnival games.
Oct. 26 – Boojum Zombie Family Fun Runís Annual Non-Profit Fundraiser
Breezeway Farms, 38801 Los Corralitos Rd. This is a 5k run and will navigate through the "zombie village" through infested trails, tunnels and over obstacles to reach the safety of the triage area. There will be a series of man-made and natural obstacles that may be physically challenging. The obstacles will test the runners strength and speed as they climb, crawl, duck and dive their way to the finish line. After the run you can enjoy anoutdoor movie. Oct. 27 – Cabaret at the Merc Presents: A Broadway Halloween Costume Party
6:30 p.m. The Merc, 42051 Main St. Come dressed as your favorite Broadway character. There will also be a contest at the end of the night for best costume.Tickets: $20 Reserved Seating, $15 Students with ID (available in back row only). Tickets available at temeculatheater.org.

5:30 to 8:30 p.m. California Oaks Sports Park, 40600 California Oaks Rd., Murrieta. Event includes carnival style games, candy, prizes and food vendors. Bring your best carved pumpkin for contest.
Oct. 26, Oct. 31 – Haunted House - The House that Death Built
6:30 to 10 p.m. Haunted House, 36301 Revington Lane. Free admission to this haunted house that features chills and thrills for your Halloween pleasure.
Oct. 17-21, Oct. 24-27, Oct. 31, Nov. 1-2 – Field of Screams Haunted Stadium
7 to 11 p.m. Storm Stadium, 500 Diamond Dr. There are five new mazes this year that include Uncle Chuckleís Fun House and Tomb of Terror.
Oct. 31 – Fangtastic Halloween Party
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Lake Elsinore Outlets, 17600 Collier Ave., Lake Elsinore. Mini express train rides, circus obstacle course, and jumper/slide combo. There will also be a costume fashion show at 6:30 p.m. for all participants attending.
Nov. 1 – Day of the Dead Celebration
4 to 9 p.m. Historic Downtown Lake Elsinore, Main St., Lake Elsinore. Day of the Dead art will be featured, community altars, and music and ballet folklorico dancers are scheduled.
MENIFEE and SUN CITY
Oct. 12 – "Dogtober Fest"
An adoption event, presented by Sun City K9 Adoptions and Menifee Valley Humane Society.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pete Peterson Park, 29621 Park City Ave., Menifee. Event will include four dogs that are up for adoption. There will also be food, entertainment and a dog costume contest.
Oct. 28-30 – Halloween Fun!
4 to 8 p.m. Lazy Creek Park, 26480 Lazy Creek Rd., Menifee. Activities include a pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, jumpers, and candy carnival.
Oct. 12 – Wine Town Rollers Present: Night of the Skating Dead
6:30 p.m.†Arena Sports, 22482 Walnut Dr. Fans are encouraged to dress up as zombies and vampires. Best costume wins. Event will include half time show, raffles and vendors. $5 fee.
