Vista Murrieta Leaps Back into First Place in the Inland Division
The Vista Murrieta Broncos are number one again in the CIF-SS Inland Division after a convincing 49-14 victory over Murrieta Valley last week. The Nighthawks stay in the top ten as they slip to number 9 in the polls.
Rancho Cucamonga dropped to number two after a close call against Los Osos. Centennial is still stuck in third.
The big jump came from Chaparral as the Pumas leapt into sixth place in the polls over Great Oak and Murrieta Valley with their come from behind win over Murrieta Mesa. The Pumas will be tested this week as they host number 9 Murrieta Valley.
Great Oak dropped out of the top ten with the 21-17 loss to Chaparral.
Heritage is 7-1 and solidly locked in at number 2 in the Central Division after beating previously undefeated Paloma Valley 48-25. The Wildcats are ranked fourth in the division.
Elsinore defeated Temescal Canyon to stay at number 7 in the division rankings. The Titans are now ranked 13th in the Central Division.

CIF Cross Country:
The Wolfpack Girls Cross County Team is ranked first in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 after a strong showing at the Mt. SAC Invitational this weekend. The Great Oak Boys team is ranked eighth.
The Bronco Girls are in the number eight position. Vista Murrieta Boys are ranked twelfth in Division 1.
Any team that finished in the Top 13 in two of the final four Poll releases will compete in the CIF SS Preliminary meet as an at‐large entry if not already an automatic qualifier from their league.
