Local Realtors and Vista Murrieta staff and students deliver over 20,000 items to local pantries

Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013
Issue 49, Volume 17.

The Southwest Riverside County Association of REALTORSŪ along with the SRCARŪ Affiliate Committee delivered 20,347 items to the following local food pantries, including the following:

Temecula Community Pantry

Menifee Community Pantry

Community Mission of Hope

St. Martha’s Church

St. Catherine’s, Temecula

Circle of Care

United Methodist Church, Murrieta

The SRCARŪ is giving a hearty thanks to the amazing outpouring of kind generosity of the Vista Murrieta High School staff and students who helped to make the holiday season very special for the many people in need throughout Southwest Riverside County.

The staff at the local pantries were overwhelmed with the unexpected deliveries on a rainy Friday afternoon, November 22nd. Because of the high volume of donations, it took 12 trucks/SUV’s to deliver all the items collected by Advertisement

one very generous group at Vista Murrieta High School.

According to Diane Stumpp, from SRCARŪ, "The REALTORSŪ and Affiliates who came to Vista Murrieta High School were all so very impressed with VMHS staff member Hien Nguyen and his peers who helped lead the way for an incredible outcome of the canned food drive. It gives us all a great feeling to see our younger generation respond to a community need with incredible success."

Stumpp said, "Despite the cold and rainy day, the students, faculty, REALTORSŪ and SRCARŪ Affiliates gave willingly and we are appreciative of their warm and giving hearts."

Not shown is Dan Cvelbar, SRCARŪ Affiliate who was instrumental in coordinating this event between VMHS and SRCARŪ REALTORSŪ and Affiliates.
