Wildcat Tip-Off Tournament Begins

The "Wildcat Tip-Off" begins this week with ten girls varsity basketball teams competing in the area’s first tournament. Four Valley teams – Elsinore, Temecula Valley, Murrieta Valley, and Paloma Valley – will face off against Rancho Verde, Summit, San Jacinto, Santiago, Citrus Hill and JW North.

The tournament runs from December 2 through December 7 and will be held at Paloma Valley High School, 31375 Bradley Road in Menifee. Pool play begins at 3:30 pm on Day 1, 4:30 pm on Days 2-5. Saturday’s finals games begin at noon with the Championship game at 6 pm. The public is invited to attend and get a preview of this season’s talent.

Pool 1: Elsinore, Rancho Verde, Summit

Pool 2: Temecula valley, San Jacinto, Santiago

Pool 3: Murrieta valley, Citrus hill, JW North, Paloma Valley

Monday, December 2:

3:30 pm San Jacinto vs Temecula Valley

5:00 pm Summit vs Elsinore

6:30 pm JW North vs Murrieta Valley

8:00 pm Citrus Hill vs Paloma Valley

Tuesday, December 3:

4:30 pm Murrieta valley vs Paloma Valley

6:00 pm Elsinore vs Rancho Verde

7:30 pm Temecula Valley vs Santiago

Wednesday, December 4:

4:30 pm Citrus Hill vs JW North

6:00 pm Rancho Verde vs Summit

7:30 pm Santiago vs San Jacinto

Thursday, December 5:

4:30 pm Pool 1 #3 vs Pool 2 #3 (GM 1)

6:00 pm Murrieta Valley vs Citrus Hill

Friday, December 6:

4:30 pm Pool 1 #2 vs Pool 2 #2 (GM 2)

6:00 pm JW North vs Paloma Valley

7:30 pm Pool 1 #1 vs Pool 2 #1 (GM 3)

Saturday, December 7:

12:00 pm Loser GM 1 vs Loser GM 2 or Pool 3 #4

1:30 pm Winner GM 1 vs Loser GM 2 or Pool 3 #4

3:00 pm Winner GM 2 vs Pool 3 #3

4:30 pm Loser GM 3 vs Pool 3 #2

6:00 pm Winner GM 3 vs Pool 3 #1 (CHAMPIONSHIP GAME)
