TEMECULA – Mayor Mike Naggar and Mayor Pro Tem, Maryann Edwards accepted payment in full from President Perry Peters, Friends of Ronald Reagan Sports Park on Nov. 27. The repayment of $3,500 and a hearty thank you were given by Peters as the City of Temecula loaned the necessary funds for the repair of the statue when damage was done earlier this fall.

outpouring of generosity from Americans from 21 states when news spread of the disturbing vandalism to the Reagan statue. This statue is a tribute to not only our 40th President but also to all volunteers of our fine community who demonstrate the ‘Can-Do Spirit’ that was praised by President Reagan in 1983."
