College Football News named USC freshman safety Suía Cravens to their freshman All-American Team.

The Vista Murrieta graduate and five-star recruit started all but one game for the University of Southern California as a true freshman. He debuted against University of Hawaii with an interception. Over the course of the year, Cravens recorded four interceptions, 52 tackles, and forced two fumbles.

Cravens played Pop Warner football in his hometown of Temecula, was a freshman varsity player at Temecula Valley High School in 2009 before transferring to Vista Murrieta High School, where he starred on both offense and defense.

In his senior year, Cravens was named USA Today All-USA Defensive Player of the Year, named to three All-American teams (Parade, Prep Star, MaxPreps), Gatorade California Player of the Year, and All-CIF Inland Division Defensive Player, among many other awards. He was also part of the 2011 Vista Murrieta team that went 14-0 and won the CIF Southern Section Inland Division Championship.
