WILDOMAR - Two motorists suffered major injuries and another motorist escaped with minor injuries in a three-vehicle rollover crash in Wildomar, a sheriff's sergeant said today.

The crash at Mission Trail and Olive occurred about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, said Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Peter Giannakakos.

The driver of a white 1997 Lexus 300 ES going northbound on Mission Trail allowed his vehicle to veer to the right near the intersection of Olive and strike the curb line at the intersection of Mission Trail and Olive, Giannakakos said.

The vehicle then overcorrected and entered the oncoming traffic on Mission Trail where it struck a 2007 gray GMC Yukon and a 1998 gray Nissan Maxima, he said.

Paramedics rushed the drivers of the Lexus and Yukon to an area hospital with major injuries. The driver and a passenger in the Nissan were treated and released from a local hospital, he said.

Investigators from the Wildomar Police Department asked anyone who saw the crash to call them at (951) 245-3300.
