Ex-Felon Arrested for Possession of Firearm

On Saturday, December 14, 2013, at approximately 10:00 PM, Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call of a man looking into parked vehicles at the business complex on Pulsar Court.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY SHERIFF PRESS RELEASE - A patrol deputy arrived at the business center and located the suspect on Pulsar Court. The suspect saw the deputy and fled toward the rear of the business center. The deputy initiated a foot pursuit, and chased the suspect to the rear of the complex, where the suspect was subsequently taken into custody.

been taken from vehicles.

Charles Daniel Finney, 29 years old and a resident of Temescal Canyon, was arrested for ex-felon in possession of a loaded firearm, ex-felon in possession of live ammunition, under the influence of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm and resisting arrest. During the course of the investigation it was discovered Finney had a felony warrant issued for his arrest for possession of a controlled substance, and was transported to the Southwest Detention Center.

What a ex-felon decided to carry a loaded firearm even though he is legally prohibited from doing that. Another shocker...he had a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Throw this perpetual criminal in the slammer and throw away the key.
