The 2013 All-Southwestern League Boys Water Polo Team Announced


Vista Murrieta’s Jonny Lotero Named Most Valuable Player

The Southwestern Boys Water Polo Team has announced the All-League Teams and Vista Murrieta senior Jonny Lotero has been named the league’s Most Valuable Player. Lotero led the Broncos to a 22-8 record this season scoring 82 goals for Vista Murrieta. Teammate Brandt Restad was also named to first team.

Murrieta Valley’s Evan Price, Tyler Dudek, and Talon Gay were selected to the First team. Preston Shore and Adam Kelsey were selected from Great Oak. Chaparral’s Mark Morin and Colin Colas complete the 2013 All-Southwestern League Boys Water Polo Team.

The All-Southwestern second team consists of Murrieta Valley’s Hudson Rawlings and Ben Schlueniger, Xhoni Filo of Vista Murrieta. Great Oak’s J.D Barker andTrent Daub, Chaparral’s Brandon Moore and Garrison White, Murrieta Mesa’s David Patton and Temecula Valley’s Ryan Cantrell.

Murrieta Valley won the league title with a 7-1 record. The Broncos were second Pumas finished third.
