The San Jacinto Tigers knocked off Redlands East Valley (REV) Wildcats in the championship game of the Nighthawk Classic and took the crown home to San Jacinto. They defeated Moreno Valley (47-37) and Murrieta Valley (52-46) to advance to the title game.

San Jacinto started slowly against REV as they fell behind the Wildcats 17-13 in the opening period. The Tigers stiffened, took control and the lead in the second and never looked back. They dominated the crucial final quarter where San Jacinto outscored REV 28-19 and crushed any resistance that the Wildcats had left. Asia Noble was named the player of the game for San Jacinto by Coach Vicki Thomas. After sitting 3 1/2 quarters on the bench Noble entered the game after the starting post fouled out. She rallied the Tigers past REV. Noble ended up with 8 points and 5 rebounds in 5 minutes of play to help seal the Tiger victory in the decisive fourth period.

San Jacinto’s Adriana Delgado was also named to the All Tournament team which included: Maribel Lopez (Temescal Canyon), Thaila Carballosa (Vista Del Lago), Ajahnae Gamble (Moreno Valley), Renee Vellos (Elsinore), Whitney Barlow (Boulder City, Nevada), Ariana Hernandez and Alex Morrison (Murrieta Valley), and Bre Bishop (Redlands East Valley).
