Cruz, who was not wearing her seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene, Monks said.

The 38-year-old man at the wheel of the larger vehicle was not injured, the officer said.

Your Seatbelt! It's 2014 people, they are there for a very good reason - to help prevent THIS from happening.

Seatbelts work but in this case I don't think a seatbelt would have made a differance!

You are a heartless person who has nothing better to do then to make some lame a.. comment on another persons tragedy. This article does not mention all the facts of this accident so before you get balls and comment while hiding behind a computer grow some and use your real name.

May your "seatbelt" save you one day
