Temecula Recycling now accepting live Christmas trees to recycle

TEMECULA – Temecula Recycling will be accepting live Christmas trees for a small drop-off fee of $10 per tree.

Other holiday items that are recycled are holiday string lights, wrapping paper, cardboard boxes, greeting cards and plastic bags. Some of these items you get paid for, per pound, depending on the individual item.

When arriving at Temecula Recycling, one of the Temecula Recycling employees will assist with unloading your vehicle.

Christmas trees are discarded for recycling/disposal in California. Recycling trees locally can be turned into mulch for water conservation and weed control in the garden.

Temecula Recycling also encourages the community to recycle electronic waste which is hazardous to our health and the environment if it ends up in the landfill.
