A gang task force associated with the Jurupa Valley Police Department arrested two El Cerrito men Friday after a compliance search of their residence recovered 90 marijuana plants as well as evidence that indicated the narcotic was being sold.

The Greater Corona/Norco/Home Gardens Regional Gang Task Force was conducting a probation search of an apartment when they came across the plants and additional paraphernalia, according to a Riverside County Sheriff's report.

County jail records indicated that both of the two men remained jailed Saturday, with each of their bails set at $25,000.

Anyone with additional information on this crime is encouraged to contact the Riverside County Gang Task Force Commander, Sergeant Paul Mercado at (951)-736-2380.
