UPDATE: Menifee boy reported missing found at friend's home

About 4 pm. on March 20, Sheriff’s Deputy Albert Martinez announced that Nicholas was found. Nicholas was found unharmed at a friend’s residence on Falconer Drive in Murrieta and returned to his residence.


Menifee boy reported missing, last seen at Alta Murrieta Sports Park

MENIFEE - On March 19, around 9:30 p.m., Menifee police officers were dispatched to a missing juvenile call.

Officers learned that Nicholas Acosta was last seen at his residence on Copper Terrace around 6 p.m.

Menifee police officers, with the assistance of a Riverside Sheriff’s bloodhound, were able to establish that Nicholas was in the area of the Alta Murrieta Sports Park in Murrieta around 9:30 p.m. His whereabouts since that time are unknown. Nicholas takes medication to prevent seizures and is considered at risk, but foul play is not suspected at this time.

4’10" tall, 95 lbs, brown hair and hazel eyes

Not trying to be crude but the advertisement on this article really should be changed, its a bit morbid and insensitive to the situation.
