TEMECULA – U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Anthony Bellville, of Temecula, inspects aviation life support equipment aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan in the Atlantic Ocean on Feb. 24, 2014.

The Bataan Amphibious Readiness Group was deployed supporting maritime security operations and providing crisis response capability, increasing theater security cooperation and a forward naval presence in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
