April 5: Annual Legends Coach & Athletic Director Clinic

This year’s Annual Legends and Athletic Director Clinic will be held Saturday, April 5th, at Scripps Ranch High School and will once again feature Legendary coaches sharing details on their football and athletic programs:

• "The Blitz Coach" : John Shacklett, Morse HS, Herb Meyer, El Camino HS (record 338-117-6)

• "Defending the Spread Offense" : Ron Hamamoto, Monta Vista HS (200-122-2)

• "Practice Organization and Game Preparation" : Gil Warren, Olympian HS (218-89-4)

• "Building a Balanced Offense" : Chris Hauser, Mission Hills HS (114-55-2), 2013 Open Division SDCIF Champions

• "Blitzing from the Field and Blitzing from the Formation" : Danny Gonzales, San Diego State Safeties Coach

The Round Table question and answer session will also feature John Carroll from Oceanside HS and Rocky Long, Head Coach for San Diego State. Carroll’s Oceanside Pirates have reached CIF semifinals twenty straight seasons, won 13 CIF Championships and two State Championships.
