Great Oak, Temecula Valley and Vista Murrieta Lead the Pack

Southwestern league baseball teams dominated local polls this week. Several local Polls placed the Wolfpack as the number one team in the Inland Empire.

Great Oak catapulted to the top spot with its 1-0 victory over Temecula Valley on Saturday. The loss slipped the Golden Bears to number two in the Polls as a result.

Vista Murrieta lost to Temecula Valley Friday afternoon in their SWL league opener at the Diamond. The Broncos dropped a spot in the polls to number four. They were leading 3-0 in todays game but lost to number one Great Oak as the Wolfpack bounced back with a rally for the come from behind win 5-2.

The Sun Belt’s Temescal Canyon was ranked 14th in the local polls. The Titans are 5-2.
