and suspect Albert Antonio Fierro, 20, of Perris, knew each other. Fierro and his teenage accomplice allegedly conspired to travel to the location with the victim in order to commit robbery and attempted murder, Hoxmeier said.

Investigators recovered the weapon along with other evidence allegedly linking Fierro and the teen to the crime.

Fierro was arrested early today and booked on suspicion of second degree robbery, extortion and attempted murder. He remained in custody in lieu of $1 million bail, records showed.

The teenage girl was booked into juvenile hall for conspiring to commit robbery and attempted murder, Hoxmeier said.

Fierro's tie with his alleged accomplice was not explained.
