One person killed in crash on Highway 371 near Cahuilla Reservation

ANZA - One person was killed today in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 371 near the Cahuilla Creek Casino in Anza.

California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched at 7:56 a.m. to an area close to where the casino is located. CHP officers were still at the scene of the fatal crash by mid-day investigating how it happened, a dispatcher said.

The wreck occurred between Anza and Aguanga. Only one fatality was reported, the dispatcher said.
