Wednesday, April 9th, 2014
Issue 15, Volume 18.

MURRIETA - Crews are currently working to repair a Murrieta road that apparently cracked apart due to water pressure from beneath it this morning, April 9.

A water main break in the area of California Oaks Rd. and Hancock Ave. around 7 a.m. this morning has resulted in thousands of gallons spewing from the line.

to Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District.

Closures were initially placed at Hancock and Falcon Way, Tarragona Drive and Cal Oaks on the north end, and Sky View Ridge and Cal Oaks on south end.

It is not clear how long closures will be in effect while the road is under repair.
