Fatal Traffic Collision

RIVERSIDE COUNTY SHERIFF PRESS RELEASE -

On Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 5:49 AM, officers from the Menifee Police Department responded to a report of a single roll over vehicle collision in an open field east of the 215 Fwy. A 38-year-old white male resident of Orange, CA was located near the wreckage of a white Toyota 4-Runner. Cal Fire responded and pronounced the male deceased.

The Menifee Traffic Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene. A preliminary investigation Advertisement

revealed the male driver was traveling southbound Antelope Rd. at a high rate of speed when he left the paved roadway and lost control of his vehicle. The Toyota traveled approximately ¼ mile in the open field before rolling numerous times and ejecting the male driver.

The deceased driver’s name is being withheld pending notification to his family. Anyone with information on this investigation is encouraged to call Deputy Cail at the Perris Sheriff’s Station, (951) 210-1000.
