CIF-SS Boys Baseball Polls Update


Southwestern League Teams Dominate Division 2

As the Monday polls came out, Temecula Valley moved into the number two spot in the CIF SS Division 2 Polls past Great Oak this week. The Golden Bears trail Dana Hills for the top spot. The Dolphins are 22-5 and lead the Sea View league with a 9-1 record.

Great Oak dropped from second to fifth in this week’s CIF Polls after losing to Chaparral 6-5 last Tuesday. Vista Murrieta jumped three spots and are now ranked seventh in the Division. They swept a very strong Murrieta Valley team to get back into the Southwestern league race.

In the local Rankings released today Norco High slipped past the Wolfpack to their Number One spot.

Great Oak falls to second place while the Golden Bears clawed their way back from fifth to third in the rankings. Vista Murrieta is at the fourth spot while the Murrieta Nighthawks are ranked sixth.

Paloma Valley is ranked at number eight and Temescal Canyon ranked eleventh in Riverside County this week,
