In the final polls, Paloma Valley Boys Varsity Volleyball team (17-6, 12-0), the undefeated Sunbelt League Champion, is ranked #8 in Division 3 of the CIF Southern Section.

Coach Katie Bradley returned this year to coach the Wildcats who were 18-9 and second in league at 8-2 last year. The 2012 team was 24-5 and 10-0 in league, losing in the second round of playoffs.

The team is led by senior Justin Ramos (230 kills) and junior David Hamilton (240 kills). Middle blocker, junior Armando Fuentes leads the team in blocks with 51. Ramos, Hamilton and Darren Fabricante account for 443 of the teamís 886 digs (53%). Fabricante leads the team with 636 of the teamís 809 assists. The team has recorded 148 aces and 128 blocks with 12 kills and 12.1 digs per set.

The Wildcatsí quest for a CIF Southern Section title begins with Division 3 play as they host Paramount, San Gabriel Valley 3# (11-12) on Tuesday, May 13. They will advance to the second round of play on Thursday, May 13 to face the winner of #9 Culver City (10-4), Ocean League #1 vs Oxnard (11-15), Pacific View League #3.

The quarterfinals matchup on Saturday, May 17th, will most likely be against #1-seed South Pasadena (13-2) Rio Hondo League #1.

Hemet West Valley (13-3), Sunbelt #2 opens at Gahr (22-5), San Gabriel Valley #2. Hemet (15-8), Sunbelt #3 travels to Warren (11-3), San Gabriel Valley #1.

Finals will be held Saturday, May 24th at Cerritos College.

As true to your statement regarding Quarter Finals Match up against South Pasadena has come true. Please come out and support this game. We need all the Wildcats Family to come out!!! Best Season Ever, and can be even better with our 7th Player there to make some noise...The Fans!!!
