Hemet: Firefighters attend to nearly drowned 2-year-old

Firefighters from Riverside County Fire Department responded to a home in the 41000 Block Felton Court after receiving a report of a near-drowning that involved a 2-year-old, a spokeswoman reported today.

to their arrival, according to Riverside County Fire Department Spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson.

There were no details available about how the drowning occurred at this point in time.

Hendrickson said that the child was transported via ground ambulance to an area hospital and that he was in stable condition at the time of transport.
