With just one game to go before the All Star break, the storm find themselves 5 games out of first place as they head into their final game of a four game road series against the High Desert Mavericks.

Lake Elsinore took game one 12-8, then suffered one of their worst losses of the season this past Thursday night, dropping game two of the four game set with the Mavericks 18-6.

On Friday night, Zach Eflin worked 7 innings of two-run ball, but the High Desert Mavericks scored 8 runs over the final two innings to steal a 10-9 win.
