Wildomar police officials are asking for the public's help in finding a mentally challenged teen that was reported missing Friday morning, June 27, at 7:30 a.m.

Officers were first dispatched to a missing person call from the 35000 block of Chloe Court in the city of Wildomar. Upon arriving, it was reported that David Alan Soto, a 19-year-old Hispanic male adult, 6 feet tall, slim build (130 lbs) with brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen in his residence at 2:30 a.m.

David is diagnosed with autism and was last seen wearing blue sweat pants and sandals. He has the mental capacity of a 15-year-old, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's deputies that are actively searching on the Advertisement

David usually wears a GPS tracking device but it had been removed for maintenance. According to officials the focus of the search is in the vicinity of McVicker Street. A sheriff’s command post was set up at David A. Brown Middle School on Grand Ave.

This is not the first time Soto has gone missing. He was reported missing but found safe in both 2012 and 2013. Family members and sheriff’s officials are hoping for a successful find in this case as well.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Sheriff’s Dispatch at (951) 776-1099 or Lieutenant Zachary Hall at (951) 445-7951.
