LifeStream to hold blood drive in Wildomar

WILDOMAR – LifeStream, a comprehensive blood center serving more than 80 medical facilities in Southern California, will be holding a blood drive from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15 at the Elk’s Lodge in the 33700 block of Mission Trail in Wildomar.

Blood donors will receive a coupon for a free pint of Baskin-Robbins ice cream while supplies last; they will also receive a free cholesterol screening and Gift of Life Donor Loyalty points that can be redeemed online.

or older may donate blood. Fifteen and 16-year-olds must provide LifeStream with written parental consent before having their blood drawn. These consent forms are available at any donor center, community blood drive or at www.LStream.org.

All prospective donors should be free of infections or illness, weigh at least 110 pounds and not be at risk for AIDS or hepatitis. Donating blood takes about an hour, yet gives someone a lifetime.
