Old Town Temecula to hold off roading car show

Old Town Temecula, which is commonly known for its car shows, will be getting something a little bit different on Friday, Aug. 8. That date will mark the beginning of the "Off Road Nights Dirt Lifestyle Festival," an event dedicated to off-road racing and the people who participate in it.

The festival will have a number of displays and exhibits in addition to an off-road car show. There will be sand, desert racing and rock crawling vehicles among numerous others types. Off-road racing stars will be in attendance and will be signing autographs.

live musical performances starting at 4 p.m. and lots of food and drinks to boot. Panini and Hops, a new Temecula restaurant, will be serving up some of its sandwiches at the event.

But the event isn’t just for off-roading enthusiasts. It boasts a kid’s area and lots of shopping opportunities as well.

The festival will begin at 2 p.m. in the area outside Old Town Temecula’s Civic Center located at 41000 Main Street in Old Town Temecula; it will end at 10 p.m.
