Temecula bank robber sought

TEMECULA-On Friday August 1st, 2014, at about 11 a.m., an unknown male entered the US Bank in the 31900 block of Temecula Parkway in the City of Temecula, brandished a weapon at the employees and demanded money.

The employees gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled from the bank. As the suspect fled, he ran across Temecula Parkway and caused a significant traffic hazard. He was last seen entering the parking lot near Applebee’s restaurant and the Ross Dress for Less business complex. No employees or customers were injured during the incident.

is described as a while male adult in his 25-30, 5’10, 160, he was wearing a black and gray baseball cap, dark short sleeve shirt, and blue jean pants.

Officers from the Temecula Police Department arrived within minutes of the call and searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him. Surveillance photos from the bank were obtained.

The investigation is ongoing and the Temecula Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Detective Dave Gorlicki at the Temecula Police Department at 951-696-3000.
