Moreno Valley: Police arrest three people in connection with string of commercial burglaries

Two men and a woman were facing possible charges today after their arrests in connection with a string of commercial burglaries in Moreno Valley, authorities said.

The burglaries took place between June 27 and Monday along Sunnymead Boulevard at businesses that included a restaurant, bowling alley, smoke shop and two pharmacies, said Sgt. Aaron Kent of the Riverside County Sheriff's

Kent said.

They were taken into custody at a vacant home in the 24000 block of Atwood Avenue, he said.

Items taken during the burglaries were located at the residence, Kent said.

"Interviews confirmed they were involved in the burglaries," he said.

A third suspect, 39-year-old Patricia Gonzalez of Moreno Valley, was also arrested at the Atwood Avenue address and is suspected of possessing stolen credit cards from another burglary in Moreno Valley, Kent said.
