Sheriff’s deputies conduct DUI checkpoint in Old Town Temecula

TEMECULA (CNS) - A DUI/license check point in Old Town Temecula on Saturday netted two DUI arrests stemming from 12 field sobriety tests that were conducted, authorities said.Riverside County sheriff's deputies posted up at the intersection of Old Town Front Street and Moreno Road from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Deputies were looking for signs of alcohol or drug impairment, along with checking drivers for proper licensing, according to the department.Of the 1,251 passing vehicles, the following actions occurred:Two people were arrested for driving under the influence;Twenty six vehicles were taken aside and screened through a separate secondary process;Twelve field sobriety tests conducted;Seven drivers were cited or arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed or while suspe
