Mt. San Jacinto College announces homecoming events

SAN JACINTO – The Mt. San Jacinto College Homecoming will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, offering something for everyone.

The Motorcycle Run to support veteran students and the MSJC Veterans Resource Centers is a 112-mile scenic ride beginning 8 a.m. at the college’s Menifee Valley campus and ending at the San Jacinto campus. Riders can register online at www.msjc.edu/motorcyclerun.

link Tailgating begins 11 a.m. on the San Jacinto campus near the football field with the Student Government Association. Visitors can enjoy a free barbecue, a pumpkin patch with child-friendly activities and live entertainment by the rock band DEA. The MSJC Foundation will also host a beer garden.

The homecoming football game commences 1 p.m. as the MSJC Eagles take on Southwestern at the San Jacinto campus at the Carl Quandt Stadium.

The Athletics Hall of Fame, 5 p.m. in the San Jacinto campus cafeteria, will honor the class of 2017 inductees: the 1982 baseball team, Britney Iredale and Troy Truvillion and President’s Award winner, Charlie Silvas. Purchase tickets at http://www.msjc.edu/HallofFame.
