Canyon Lake man accused in Southwest Riverside County robberies must stand trial, judge rules

A Canyon Lake man accused of committing eight robberies in Riverside County over a monthlong span must stand trial on multiple felony charges, a judge ruled today.

Brandon William Geer, 36, was arrested in Temecula on Jan. 11 after allegedly committing his last holdup near the Pechanga Resort & Casino.

Following a preliminary hearing Monday at the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta, Riverside County Superior Court Judge Kelly Hansen found there was sufficient evidence to bound Geer over for trial on eight counts of armed robbery, two counts of attempted robbery and sentence-enhancing al...
