BREAKING: Murrieta Valley High School on lockdown, no active shooter, police say

UPDATE: Nov. 8, 2 p.m.

A lockdown issued for Murrieta Valley High School was lifted earlier this afternoon once police determined that there was no threat to the school.

According to a social media post on the Murrieta Unified School District Facebook page, no explosive devices were found at the school, confirming suspicions that MVHS received a threat, though how the threat was delivered has not been released to the media at this time.
