ANZA: Vista man, accused of shooting at motorist and leading deputy on chase, makes first court appearance

A Vista man accused of firing a shotgun at a motorist near Anza and then leading a sheriff's deputy on a chase into the hills was charged today with shooting at an occupied vehicle and assault with a firearm.

Adam Ryan Gray, 31, was being held in lieu of $1 million bail at the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta and was slated to make his initial court appearance this afternoon at the adjacent Southwest Justice Center.
