Man dies after suffering medical emergency at Temecula Walmart; foul play not suspected

A man died after suffering a medical emergency at a Temecula Walmart on Monday, Dec. 18, but foul play was not suspected, sheriff's officials say.

The incident was reported shortly before 6 p.m. at the Walmart at 32225 Temecula Parkway, according to a Riverside County sheriff's news release.

Deputies found a man, described as "elderly," suffering from medical issues in his vehicle.

Paramedics and firefighters on scene tried to provide "lifesaving procedures" before the man could be taken to the hospital.

Sheriff's officials asked anyone with information about the incident to call the Temecula station at 951-696-3000.
