Former local players, now in college, return to play in Holiday Bowl

Heritage High School graduate Jamal Morrow, Chaparral graduate Darrien Molton, and Vista Murrieta graduate Greg Hoyd III played in college football's San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl which was contested Thursday, Dec. 28, at SDCCU Stadium in San Diego.

Morrow, Molton, and Hoyd all played for Washington State University, which lost the 42-17 game to Michigan State University. Morrow was a starting running back for the Cougars, Molton started at cornerback, and Hoyd saw action on the kick return unit.
