Firefighter suffers minor injuries while battling blaze

A firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling a blaze in a double-wide manufactured home in Murrieta Saturday, Jan. 6.

The fire broke out about 8 a.m. near the intersection of Baxter Road and Menifee roads, according to Murrieta Fire & Rescue.

According to freelance photographer Joe Fanaselle, Firefighters initially prepared to perform an interior attack but were forced to pull back and switch to a defensive operation due to extreme heat and fire conditions, including fire under the subfloor.
