WINCHESTER – The grand opening of Avena, a new single-family home neighborhood in the French Valley, was a hit with home shoppers who toured the models the first weekend after new year’s day, reserving three homes in the first phase.

Priced from the mid $400,000s, Avena by Pardee Homes is nestled against the backdrop of Temecula’s wine country and within the Temecula Unified School District. Homes feature spacious two-story floor plans, offering a modern feel and extensive options for personalization.

Avena wowed more than 400 grand opening home shoppers who found the fresh design a standout among the existing homes in the French Valley. Standard features include slab granite kitchen countertops, General Electric stainless steel finish appliances, extensive pre-wiring for cable TV and telephone and elegant owner’s suites with large walk-in closets. There’s also a solar power system with a signed lease agreement, flexible room options, spacious great rooms, covered patios and optional glider or stacking doors. Four floor plans are available in Avena with a range of three to five bedrooms, three to four baths and approximately 2,585 to 3,070 square feet.
