All Temecula Parkway lanes, freeway ramps open after gas leak prompts hours-long closure

All traffic lanes on Temecula Parkway as well as entrances and exits to the 15 Freeway were open by late Thursday afternoon, following hours-long closures that began when a road work crew accidentally ruptured a natural gas line in the area. The incident caused traffic to slow to crawl on residential streets for most of the day.

The gas line was ruptured about 2:10 a.m on Temecula Parkway at the 15 Freeway underpass, according to fire and city officials.
