Sheriff's deputies on Thursday, Feb. 1, discovered a butane honey oil lab and more than 200 large marijuana plants inside an Anza home, but were not able to immediately find the home's owners.

The discovery was made about 7:30 a.m. when investigators from the Hemet Sheriff's Station, along with members of the Special Investigation Bureau, went to a home in the 54000 block of Moraza Road with a search warrant, according to a Riverside County sheriff's news release.

The team of deputies removed the lab as well as the plants from the property. Investigators were still following leads to try to find the owners, according to the release.

Sheriff's officials are asking anyone with information about the incident or incidents related to the investigation to call the Hemet Sheriff's Station at 951-791-3400.
