Tribal Broadband Deployment Act passes House of Representatives with unanimous bipartisan support

Bill to improve broadband access in undeveloped areas including CA-36 passes as part of a bipartisan package

PALM DESERT – Rep. Dr. Raul Ruiz, CA-36, announced the passage of his Tribal Broadband Deployment Act in the House of Representatives with unanimous bipartisan support. House Resolution 5007, the Tribal Broadband Deployment Act, was included in House Resolution 4986, the bipartisan Ray Baum’s Act of 2018, which reauthorizes and updates the Federal Communications Commission. The last time the FCC was reauthorized was 1990. The bill now awaits consideration in the Senate.
