Rain doesn't dampen spirits during seventh annual St. Patrick's Day 15K and 5K in Temecula

Belle Martin of the Flavor Company dance group tries to get runners at the seventh annual St. Patrick's Day 15K and 5K at Cougar Vineyard and Winery warmed up, telling them to dance an Irish jig.

A little bit of rain didn't stop hundreds of people, clad in green, from participating in the 7th annual St. Patrick's Day 15K and 5K at Cougar Vineyard and Winery.

Roughly 600 people showed up Saturday, March 17, dressed as green-skinned creatures, leprechauns and even as Good Luck Bear from "The Care Bears" in races through the vineyard and along wine country roads.

Participants in the race who were 21 years or older got an optional T-shirt, a glass of Cougar's famous bubbly dyed green, a collectible stemless flute glass and a miniature succulent to take home.
