Ralph Love artwork is on display at Vail Ranch History Center

The work of local painter Ralph Love sits in the History Center at Vail Ranch Headquarters after being acquired by the Vail Ranch Restoration Association from the estate of Keith Johnson.

The Vail Ranch Restoration Association honors and celebrates Temecula's rich history through the collection of artifacts and by the retelling of stories that enrich understanding of the past. Recently they acquired an oil painting by Ralph Love, "the painting preacher." His humble studio, The Art Shack, stood on Old Town Front Street in the 1950s where the courtyard of Baily's Restaurant now displays a bronze plaque placed by the Temecula Valley Historical Society in 2005. The association will display Love's painting in the History Center at Vail Ranch Headquarters.
