Mt. San Jacinto College announces purchase of two buildings for college campus

Temecula City Manager Aaron Adams addresses the crowd that gathered for a news conference announcing the purchase of two buildings by Mt. San Jacinto College for a campus in Temecula March 20.

The Mt. San Jacinto Community College District announced that it acquired two five-story buildings in Temecula that were previously owned by Abbott Laboratories for a full college campus during a news conference last week.

Both city officials and representatives for the Mt. San Jacinto Community College District were in attendance for the March 20 news conference, where it was announced that escrow had been closed on the purchase of the buildings, located at 41888 Motorcar Parkway. The purchase price was $56.5 million.
