Temecula planning commission approves 76 gas station

An artist's rendering of a gas station slated for the corner of Pechanga and Temecula parkways in Temecula. The project was approved by the Temecula planning commission March 21.

The Temecula Planning Commission narrowly approved a 76 Gas Station and Circle K convenience store for a plot of land on the southwest corner of Pechanga and Temecula parkways during a meeting last week.

The commission voted 2-1 to approve the 5,796-square-foot gas station and convenience store as well as a 700-square-foot dwelling unit on the second floor above the store March 21. Commissioner Lanae Turley-Trejo was the dissenting vote. Commission Chair Gary Youmans and Commissioner Ron Guerrerio were both absent.
