The Temecula Valley Golden Bears (13-1) are out in front of the Southwestern League with an almost impeccable record, sitting atop the standings as the only undefeated team in league (5-0), thanks to a recent 11-1 victory over Vista Murrieta Tuesday, March 27. The win over the Broncos was the first one they have had in four years over the Southwestern League's most successful program, successful by means of playoff appearances even though Murrieta Mesa garnishes the areas only Division 1 CIF Championship title (2016).
