Tot nearly drowns in bathtub at Menifee home

A toddler was pulled unconscious from a water-filled bathtub in a Menifee home, April 9, but was revived by firefighters.

The near-drowning was reported shortly before 11 a.m. at a house in the 29000 block of Avenida de Real, near Park Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Agency spokeswoman April Newman said family members called for help after they discovered the tot, whose name was not released, submerged in the tub and pulled him out.
